Connect55+ Topeka, a new active adult senior living community, is being built on the Kanza Education and Science Park Campus in Topeka, Kan., according to the website wibw.com.

The community will include 134 one- and two-bedroom units, which will feature full-size washer and dryers, a personal patio or private balcony, and large closets.

Amenities will comprise restaurant-style dining, a fitness center, media/activities room, beauty salon, chapel, library, and outdoor patio.

Calamar Construction (Wheatfield, N.Y.) is the builder on the project, which is slated for completion in 2024.
