Christian Living Communities (CLC), a Denver-based not-for-profit specializing in senior care and services, has purchased Cappella of Grand Junction, a local assisted living/memory care community. The Cappella community of 66 apartment homes is in Grand Junction, Colo.
Cappella Living Solutions (Cappella) is the management and consulting division of Christian Living Communities (CLC) and has been operating the community since they broke ground in 2016 through a development partnership with Confluent Senior Living, a subsidiary of Denver-based real estate investment and development firm Confluent Development. CLC’s purchase of the community from Confluent Senior Living was financed with owner equity and tax-exempt bond financing.
The 52,000-square-foot community provides care for community older adults in a mix of studio, one- and two-bedroom suites. The community features amenities designed to enrich residents’ lives through social, intellectual, inspirational, and physical programs.
CLC/Cappella now owns six senior living community operations in Colorado and is responsible for the management of 20 additional communities across seven states including Utah, Texas, Oklahoma, Ohio, Indiana, and Missouri.
