Homeless shelter and housing organization Opportunity Center for the Homeless (El Paso, Texas) started construction on Casa De Los Abuelitos, a senior living community for homeless men in El Paso, according to kfoxtv.com.
The project will provide 11 transitional beds and 24 permanent units in a 3-story building. Construction is expected to be completed in 14 months, with an opening set for the latter part of 2026.
