Developer Xenolith Partners (New York) completed construction on Casa Selena, an affordable senior living community in the Soundview neighborhood of the Bronx.
The $113 million, 16-story community comprises 204 units, including 46 one-bedroom units and 158 studio units, according to the website newyorkyimby.com.
Resident amenities include a community room, fitness room, and landscaped rooftop terrace.
Named after Supreme Court Sonia Sotomayor’s mother Celina Báez, Casa Celina was designed by Magnusson Architecture and Planning (New York). The project team also includes real estate planning consultant The Kretchmer Companies (New York), property management firm ELH Management (Brooklyn, N.Y.), and senior services provider Jewish Association Serving the Aging (JASA; New York).
