Capitol Seniors Housing, an investment firm in Washington, D.C., announced the opening of Arbor Terrace Mount Laurel  in Mount Laurel, N.J.

The 75,000-square-foot community offers 88 residential suites for assisted living and memory care and is operated by The Arbor Company. Amenities spaces include a bistro, theater room, art studio, technology lounge, patio, courtyard, and fitness center.

Meyer Senior Living Studio (Ardmore, Pa.) designed the community, which features a contemporary approach to the local Victorian-style residential neighborhoods. For example, red brick was used with contrasting bright colors for the tower elements along with gable trusses on the perimeter of the building to give it a dynamic roof line.

The interiors feature high-end finishes and lighting. The multipurpose activities space has cathedral ceilings with large structural wood trusses, while the pub takes advantage of views to the country club adjacent to the property with a large balcony overlooking the tennis courts and pool.
