The Briarwood Community, Worcester, Mass., opened The Laurels, a $23M expansion earlier this month. The Laurels features 24 independent living apartments, wellness center with pool and sauna, additional amenities, and Evergreens Memory Care (Pending EOEA Certification).
Briarwood residents, staff, board members and representatives of Design & Build partner Cutler Associates attended the grand opening on Dec. 1. Construction began in August 2018 and included major renovations in the main dining room, a new café open six days a week, a private function room, and the art gallery.
