Beacon Hill At Eastgate To Expand In Grand Rapids, Michigan

The project will add 103 independent living units and redevelop the community’s health care center, which houses assisted living and memory care units.

Beacon Hill at Eastgate in Grand Rapids, Mich., plans to expand, according to a news release.

The 400,000-square-foot project will add 103 independent living units, bringing the total number of independent living units to 299.

A redevelopment of the community’s health care center, which currently houses 71 assisted living and memory care units, is also planned. The new center will house 48 new assisted living units, 14 high-acuity assisted living units, and 15 memory care units.

The project will grow the Beacon Hill campus from 2.5 acres to 3.5 acres. Resident amenities include a pond, courtyard walkways, pickleball courts, community gardens, bakery, and coffee shop.

The project team includes architect PRDG (Dallas) and developer Greenbrier Development (Dallas).

Construction is slated to begin in 2026 and be completed in 2028.
