Artis Senior Living (McLean, Va.) has opened a memory care community in Somers, N.Y., according to an article in River Journal.
The two-story 38,477 square-foot Artis Somers includes 72 units arranged into four neighborhoods. Each level of the community will include a town center flanked by two residential neighborhoods.
First-floor amenity spaces include a community gathering space in the town center, expansive outdoor patio, and landscaped backyard with walking paths. The second floor houses a health center, beauty and barber shop, spa, and café.
The project team comprises Architecture Incorporated (designer; Reston, Va.) and The Whiting-Turner Contracting Company (construction; Baltimore).
