Ardea At Totem Lake Senior Community Planned In Kirkland, Washington

The independent living project, designed by Wattenbarger Architects, will house 170 studio and one-bedroom residential units.

Developer TWG (Indianapolis) started construction on Ardea at Totem Lake, a seven-story, 170-unit independent living community in Kirkland, Washington.

The community will include studio and one-bedroom units, a lounge, multipurpose room, private patio, top-floor deck, and wetland viewing area, according to the website news.theregistryps.com.

The residential units will be for seniors at or below 60 percent of the median income, with 85 units for those at or below 50 percent of the median income.

The project team includes designer Wattenbarger Architects, owned by TWG, and builder Deacon Construction, according to a news release on the Deacon website.
