United Properties (Minneapolis) announced the grand opening of a new 55+ active adult community in Bloomington, Minn..
The 133-unit, five-floor Amira Bloomington includes one‐bedroom, one‐bedroom plus den, two‐bedroom, two‐bedroom plus den, and three‐bedroom options. All units have full kitchens with quartz countertops and stainless-steel appliances, luxury plank‐style flooring, and private outdoor spaces.
Amenity spaces include a sky lounge and terrace, heated underground parking, outdoor pool with sundeck and cabanas, art and fitness studios, pickleball courts, hobby shop, and outdoor kitchen.
An enclosed walkway connects the new community to Amira Choice Bloomington, an independent living, assisted living, and memory care community, with residents able to use amenities such as Amira Choice’s pub and café.
The project team comprises Kaas Wilson Architects (designer; Bloomington, Minn.), Banko Design (interior designer; Marietta, Ga.), and Weis Builders (contractor; Minneapolis ). The community will be managed by Great Lakes Management (Plymouth, Minn.).
