Evergreen Real Estate Group (Chicago) has completed a $7 million renovation of Garden House of Maywood, an affordable community for older adults in Maywood, Ill., according to an article in Village Free Press.
The 10-story, 144-unit community’s renovations include new windows, sinks, cabinetry, appliances, and flooring for the resident units. Common areas were repainted, with new flooring and furniture added.
Additionally, the elevators in the building were modernized, and electrical, HVAC, and public systems were upgraded. Exterior improvements, such as façade restoration, new roofing, a new concrete patio, and repaired sidewalks, have also been done.
