Investment firm Harrison Street (Chicago), property manager Cadence Living (Scottsdale, Ariz.), and developer Ryan Companies Construction (Minneapolis) broke ground on a new senior living community in Torrance, Calif., according to an article in dailybreeze.com.
The 175,000-square-foot Acoya South Bay will include 137 independent living units and 22 assisted living units.
The four-story community, which will also feature a semi-underground parking garage, is slated for completion next year.
