Acoya South Bay Planned For California

The 159-unit independent living and assisted living community is set to be completed next year.

Investment firm Harrison Street (Chicago), property manager Cadence Living (Scottsdale, Ariz.), and developer Ryan Companies Construction (Minneapolis) broke ground on a new senior living community in Torrance, Calif., according to an article in dailybreeze.com.

The 175,000-square-foot Acoya South Bay will include 137 independent living units and 22 assisted living units.

The four-story community, which will also feature a semi-underground parking garage, is slated for completion next year.
