Housing developer and management firm The Doran Group (Bloomington, Minn.) received approval from the Maple Grove City Council and Planning Commission to build a 55+ independent living senior community in Maple Grove, Minn., according to ccxmedia.org.
The 4-story community will comprise 124 residential units. Amenities will include a fitness room, entertainment suite, library, and spa.
Initial plans to include a memory care neighborhood were scrapped by the developer citing changes in Minnesota code requirements, according to ccxmedia.org.
