55+ Affordable Senior Living Community Planned For Texas

The City of Beaumont Housing Authority (Beaumont, Texas) is partnering with Brinshore Development (Northbrook, Ill.) on a new 55+ affordable senior living community in Houston.

Situated on 6.8 acres, the four-story Century Heights community will be part of a multifamily community and will include 200 residential units with one- and two-bedroom options. Each unit will be equipped with energy-efficient appliances, nine-foot tall ceilings, and covered patios and balconies.

Amenities will include a fitness center, computer learning center, health screening room, and community room. Outdoor amenities will include a pickleball court, barbeque pavilion, dog park, sensory garden, and fountain.

The project team comprises Steinberg Dickey Collaborative (architect; Houston) and Cadence McShane Construction Company (construction; Addison, Texas).

Completion is slated for the end of 2022.
