$43M First Metropolitan Senior Apartments Break Ground In Texas

The 157-unit community is being developed by Brinshore Development and the Harris County Housing Authority.

Brinshore Development (Evanston, Ill.) and the Harris County Housing Authority (Houston) broke ground on First Metropolitan Senior Apartments in Houston, according to the website communityimpact.com.

The $43 million community will include 157 one- and two-bedroom units, 85 of which will be dedicated to low-income seniors.

Amenities will include club and activity rooms, a media center, private event suite, fitness center, business center, and pool.

The independent living community is slated to open in 2024.
