Evergreen Real Estate Group (Chicago) has completed Bellwood Senior Apartments, a 62+ affordable independent living community in Bellwood, Ill., according to the website rejournals.com.
Housed in a former Walgreens drugstore, the $31.5 million community includes 76 one-bedroom units and four two-bedroom units, each with full kitchens, accessible bathrooms, plank flooring, window treatments, and intercom entry systems.
Community amenities include a fitness center, laundry rooms on each level, community rooms, outdoor seating areas, parking, and storage rooms with individual lockers for each unit.
The project team includes Weese Langley Weese Architects (architect; Chicago) and F.H. Paschen (general contractor; Chicago).
