Memory care and assisted living community Home of the Good Shepherd in Saratoga Springs, N.Y., opened a memory care diner on its campus, according to the Albany Times Union.
The space features a retro-inspired ice cream parlor and was designed by Empire Exhibits & Displays (Mechanicville, N.Y.).
The project took about 18 months to complete.
Designed to support residents living with Alzheimer’s and dementia, the space features diner booths, checkered floors, a classic jukebox, and wall décor that includes vinyl records and photographs of vintage cars and musicians.
