The Gary Residence, a residential care community in Montpelier, Vt., added a memory care neighborhood, Clara’s Garden Memory Care, according to the website montpelierbridge.org.
The addition comprises 15 private and semiprivate units, more than doubling the number of units at the 13-bed The Gary Residence.
Amenities available to memory care residents include a hair and nail salon, secure outdoor patio and garden, and common areas for walking, dining, and activities.
The memory care wing was initially planned for a fall 2023 opening. Flood damage to The Gary Residence forced the community to close during renovations.
