Affordable housing developer Nevada Hand (Las Vegas) plans to build Serene Pines, a 278-unit community for low-income seniors in south Las Vegas.

The four-story 55+ community will offer one- and two-bedroom units, according to the website 8newsnow.com.

Amenities will include a clubhouse, multipurpose room with community kitchen, computer rooms, library, theater room, game room, and craft rooms.

Outdoor amenities will include a pool and 18,472-square-foot courtyard for programmed activities.
