Investor and developer Evergreen Real Estate (Chicago) opened Green Oaks of Valparaiso, an assisted living community in Valparaiso, Ind., for low-income seniors aged 62 and older, according to a news release.
The three-story community consists of 48 studios and 72 one-bedroom units that include a kitchenette and full bathroom with grab bars and a walk-in shower.
Resident amenities include a fitness center, salon, library, computer room, media lounge, fireplace, and movie theater. Outdoor amenities include a garden, pond, courtyard, and pavilion.
