Environments for Aging magazine has extended the deadline for nominations for its annual EFA Design Champions awards to Friday, June 21.
The annual professional awards program honors anyone directly involved in the design of a senior living environment, including architects, interior designers, providers, owners/operators, caregivers, and engineers.
To be eligible, the nomination must relate to a design project within the past two years (2022-2024) and specifically address how the nominee’s contributions are emblematic of the evolution of the senior living sector to meaningfully improve the lives of residents, staff, and the greater community.
Nominees’ related work should be in settings such as skilled nursing, assisted living, memory care, short-term rehabilitation, hospice, independent living, and 55+ housing. Special considerations may be made for senior-specific solutions in acute and post-acute care facilities.
The awards program is designed to celebrate individual contributions, but one team award may be considered.
Winners will be recognized in the Fall 2024 issue of Environments for Aging and at the 2025 Environments for Aging Conference + Expo in Lexington, Ky., April 26-29, 2025, at Central Bank Center.
