The Parkwood, an independent living senior community, opened this month in Sioux Falls, S.D., according to the website keloland.com.
The 133-unit community includes a wellness center, salon, fireside lodge, coffee shop, theater, and library, according to The Parkwood website.
It is operated by national nonprofit Transforming Age (Bellevue, Wash.), which has 60 similar communities across the U.S.
