The International Interior Design Association (IIDA) announced the winners of its 12th annual IIDA Healthcare Design Awards competition. Corso Atlanta in Atlanta was named as the winner in the program’s Extended Care and Assisted Living Facilities — Independent Living category.

Parisian-inspired Corso Atlanta
European charms are featured throughout the walkable urban campus, including a bistro, chef-led formal dining, wine tasting room, salon, and flower shop.
The site and buildings were designed with French characteristics and located to create plazas and walkways emulating a lively Parisian street scene. (For more on the project, check out EFA‘s spring 2023 issue.)
IIDA’s annual awards recognize design firms for creativity and innovation in the design of healthcare facilities. This year, 14 total awards were given, including 12 category winners and two specialty awards for Best of Competition and Transformation and Innovation.
