The Oaks 62+ Affordable Senior Living Development Opens In Dallas

Dallas Housing Authority for North Texas (DHA; Dallas) and nonprofit Volunteers of America National Services (VOANS; Alexandria, Va.) opened The Oaks, a 62+ affordable senior living development in Dallas, according to the website yieldpro.com.

The $50 million project comprises 260 units with one- and two-bedroom options. The units feature granite countertops, stainless-steel appliances, walk-in closets, washer/dryer, 9-foot ceilings, and LED lighting.

Community residents have access to a business center, library, theater room, game and craft rooms, community garden, dog park, and courtyard with grill.
