Carillon Oaks, a 65+ independent living, assisted living, and memory care community, has opened in the former Lincoln High School, a national historic landmark, in Lincoln, Ala., according to the website abc3340.com.
During the renovation process, classrooms were converted into residential units, the gym was transformed into the dining area, and a salon was built.
The 80-unit project includes 32 independent and assisted living units and 48 units dedicated to memory care.
