Newbridge Retirement Community held a ribbon-cutting ceremony in Cape Girardeau, Mo., according to the website riverbender.com.

The 75,000-square-foot, resort-style luxury community includes assisted living and memory care.

Residents have access to a library, café bistro, salon and spa, pub, fitness room, therapy room, art and gardening areas, outdoor courtyards, and walking trails.

The project team includes Vessel Architecture (architect; St. Louis), Impact Strategies (general contractor; St. Louis), Bowen Engineering & Surveying (civil engineer; Cape Girardeau), and SSC Engineering (engineering consultant; Chesterfield, Mo.).
