Merrill Gardens (Seattle), owner and operator, is adding two senior living communities in Tacoma, Wash., according to the website amp.thenewstribune.com.
Merrill Gardens at Wright Park, developed by Merrill Gardens and Rush Development (Gig Harbor, Wash.), opened at the end of 2022. The seven-story community includes 115 independent and assisted living units, ranging from studios to two-bedroom options, as well as 18 memory care units.
The community also houses a rooftop deck and sky lounge, courtyard, movie theater, retail, and an urgent care clinic.
The Lex, a nine-story community developed by Merrill Gardens’ sister company Pillar Properties (Seattle), is slated to open at the end of February. The 247-unit community will include studio and one- and two-bedroom options with high-end finishes, tall ceilings, large kitchens and bathrooms, and private patios.
Residents will have access to lounges, a fitness center, rooftop pup park, controlled access garage parking with charging stations, as well as bike storage and maintenance area.
The project team includes Ferguson Architecture (architect; Tacoma).
