Family-owned skilled nursing company Via Health Services (Des Moines, Iowa) is opening a 32-bed memory care unit at its Des Moines community, according to the website businessrecord.com.
The project involved renovating a former skilled nursing unit into the 32-bed Iris at Fleur, which will be licensed as a chronic confusion and dementing illness facility.
The 14,000-square-foot unit will include private resident rooms with bathrooms.
