The first phase of a campus expansion, Inspirata Pointe at Royal Oaks in Sun City, Ariz., delivers 150 customizable independent living units, a commons component, an expansion of the supportive living building, and a new public entry and rehab center. With an emphasis on providing abundant choices for residents, the resort-style campus will offer casual and elevated dining experiences, a life enrichment center, classrooms and art studios, indoor and outdoor pools, and dedicated fitness areas.
Biophilia is incorporated throughout the design to enhance resident wellness and connection to the outdoors. For example, Arizona’s natural environment is reflected through the selection of textures, patterns, canopies, and color. Courtyards with shaded pavilions, walking paths, and water features encourage resident connectivity by creating welcoming sanctuaries within the desert.
