LGBTQ+ Luxury Senior Living Community Planned For California

Developer Koar International LLC (Beverly Hills, Calif.) broke ground on a new LGBTQ+ luxury senior living community for adults 55+ in Palm Springs, Calif.

Situated on 9 acres, the three-story Living Out Palm Springs will comprise 122 units, available in four layouts and ranging in size from approximately 1,100 square feet to 1,700 square feet. Units will include a large balcony or patio.

The community will feature a mid-century modern design and include a restaurant and bar, movie theater, game room, card room, fitness center, arts and crafts studio, massage rooms, salon, and community lounge with coffee bar, prepared food options, and workspace.

Outdoor amenities will include covered surface parking for residents as well as guest and retail parking, an event lawn, BBQ and entertainment areas, resort-style swimming pool, three separate jacuzzi spa areas, bocce ball courts, putting green, orchards, rose gardens, and walking paths. Also planned is a large pet park adjacent to a full-service pet facility, including a retail store, grooming facilities, pet day care, and overnight boarding.

The community is expected to be completed by mid-2023.
