Environments for Aging announced the 2021 winners of its annual Design Champions awards program.
Design Champions is designed to celebrate the individual contributions of professionals working within the senior living design industry who are fighting to effect meaningful change in the lives of residents, staff, and the greater community. Winners are specifically recognized for contributions within the past two years.
The 2021 Design Champions are:
- Melissa Banko, principal and founder, Banko Design (Marietta, Ga.)
- Philippe Saad, principal, DiMella Shaffer (Boston)
- Alan Siegfried, vice president of project management, Brightview Senior Living Development (Baltimore, Md.)
- Grant Warner, senior designer, HKS (Dallas)
Individual profiles of the winners are published in Environments for Aging’s Winter 2021 issue. The group also will be recognized during the magazine’s annual awards luncheon at the 2022 Environments for Aging Conference + Expo, April 2-5, at the Wisconsin Center in Milwaukee.
