Goodwin House Plans Independent Living, Assisted Living, And Memory Care Community

The 200-unit project will be included in a mixed-used development in Virginia.

Nonprofit operator Goodwin House (Alexandria, Va.) is planning a new senior living campus as part of the Avonlea mixed-use project in Chantilly, Va., according to an article in Loudoun Now.

The 200-unit independent living, assisted living, and memory care community will include a fitness studio, arts center, dining venues, club lounge, salon, garden terraces, walking path, pickleball court, and putting green.

Avonlea, developed by Peterson Companies, will include retail and commercial businesses, apartments, and medical offices.

The senior living community is expected to open in spring 2025.
