Housing authority Fort Worth Housing Solutions (Fort Worth, Texas), the City of Fort Worth, and developer McCormack Baron Salazar (San Antonio, Texas) have broken ground on a 62+ senior living community, in Fort Worth, Texas, according to an article in Fort Worth Magazine.
The four-story, mixed-income Cowan Place will include 174 residential units (one- and two-bedroom options) along with a library, theater, fitness studio, salon, billiards room, and a terraced courtyard.
The project is the first of a six-phase, federally funded initiative to improve housing and services in the East Fort Worth community. Project construction is slated to take 24 months.
