Watermark Retirement Communities (Tucson, Ariz.), real estate developer The St. Joe Company (Panama City Beach, Fla.), and BRW Origins LLC (Santa Rosa Beach, Fla.) broke ground on a new luxury independent living community in Watersound, Fla.
The four-story, 226,000-square-foot Watersound Fountains will house 148 units.
Amenities will include a spa, a wellness center, pool, multiple dining venues, and integrated indoor/outdoor spaces such as covered porches, patios, and gazebos.
The project team includes Chancey Design Partnership (architect; Tampa, Fla.), Chancey Interior Design (interior designer; Tampa), and T.H. Davis (landscape architect; Tierra Verde, Fla.).
Completion is slated for 2023.
