Developer and operator Gardant (Bourbonnais, Ill.) is planning new senior living community in Aurora, Ill., that will include assisted living and memory care units.
Bardwell Residences will be part of the Old Copley Hospital redevelopment project, which includes a pharmacy, healthcare facility, surgical center, and 1.4 acres of landscaped walking paths and parks. The community is expected to open phases starting in late winter with the assisted living and memory care communities expected to open in early 2022.
Each unit will feature a kitchenette, spacious bathroom with shower and grab bars, and emergency alert system.
Amenities will include a recreation room, lounges, fitness center, activity room, and library/computer room.
