Sequoia Living (San Francisco, Calif.), formerly known as Northern California Presbyterian Homes and Services, has opened an independent living, assisted living, and memory care community in Walnut Creek, Calif., as part of The Orchards at Walnut Creek mixed-use development.
Situated on 3.8 acres, the four-story Viamonte at Walnut Creek has nearly 200 residential units and is organized around two interior courtyards that allow natural light to reach interior spaces. The residences include one- and two-bedroom units with full kitchens and private decks or patios.
Amenities include a gym, salon, bocce court, heated swimming pool, two on-site restaurants, and outdoor fireplaces. The mixed-use development also includes a neighboring retail center, outdoor amphitheater, and interactive art zone.
StudioSIX5 (Austin, Texas) provided the interior design and architecture services for the project.
