Owner and operator The Palace Group (Miami, Fla.) has opened an independent living, assisted living, and memory care community in Weston, Fla., according to an article in Miami’s Community Newspapers.
The four-story The Palace at Weston features three separate buildings for the different care levels, each with a distinct entrance, private courtyard, and public areas.
The independent living community includes 130 units with fully equipped kitchens with granite countertops, custom closets, universal-designed bathrooms with safety grab-bars, washer and dryers, and an emergency call system. Amenities include a plaza and piano bar, dining room, fitness center, theater, library, card room, computer center, courtyard, and swimming pool.
The 144-unit assisted living community offers similar amenities to the independent living community, including a dining room, plaza and bar, theater, beauty salon, arts and crafts and game rooms, and swimming pool. A wellness center with physical therapy department and physician offices are also included.
The memory care community includes a multisensory room and outdoor garden with a walking path.
The project team comprises Salazar Architectural Group (architect; Miami) and Coastal Construction Group (construction; Miami).
