Peabody Home is planning a new community in Franklin, N.H., according to an article in the Laconia Daily Sun.

The 63,632-square-foot project will be completed in two phases with the first phase comprising a new building for 45 assisted living units and 13 memory care units. Upon completion, residents and staff will transition into the new community while the original 78-year-old community will be torn down to make room for phase two, which includes constructing a new 16-unit independent living community.

Both phases will be integrated into a single three-story building that will feature a granite-and-brick façade and large manor windows. Amenity spaces will include a beauty and barber shop and an exercise and wellness room.

The project team includes EGA PC Architects (architect; Newburyport, Mass.), Engelberth Construction (Concord, N.H.), and Nobis Engineering (engineering consultant; Concord).
