Gurwin Healthcare System (Commack, N.Y.), which includes the 460-bed Gurwin Jewish Nursing & Rehabilitation Center, is planning an independent living community for residents age 62+ on Gurwin’s 34-acre Commack campus.
The 10-acre, 129-unit Fountaingate Gardens will feature dining venues, a fitness center, social gathering areas, and landscaped grounds.
The $115 million project is expected to break ground in fall 2020.
