Assisted Living Project In Texas Slated To Open In 2021

The 70,00-square-foot community in Austin, Texas, will house 88 units and include infection-control design features.

Senior living manager Greenbrier Senior Living (Vestivia, Ala.) and developer Braemar Partners (Marietta, Ga.) are planning an assisted living community in Austin, Texas, according to an article in Community Impact Newspaper.

Situated on 3.57 acres, the three-story, 88-unit Longleaf Bee Cave community will include neighborhood living rooms and lounge areas, multiple dining venues, a theater, arts and crafts studio, library, salon, and fitness and rehab center. The design will include several infection-control features, including HEPA filtration, disinfectant UV lighting, and antimicrobial surfaces.

The project team includes Studio Architects (architecture; Austin), Faulkner Design Group (interior designer; Dallas), and Ridgemont Construction (general contractor; Irving, Texas).

The 70,000-square-foot project is slated to open in 2021.
