The Canopy Senior Living To Add Community In Georgia

The 47,000-square-foot assisted living and memory care community is expected to open in 2020.

The Canopy Senior Living (Lake City, Fla.), a senior living owner, operator, and developer, is planning a 47,000-square-foot assisted living and memory care community in Valdosta, Ga.

The Canopy at Azalea Grove will feature a two-story assisted living community with 44 studio- and one bedroom-style units. The memory care community will offer 20 units.

Assisted living amenities will include a dining room, bistro, outdoor activity areas, media room/theater, arts and crafts area, beauty salon and barber shop, and a chapel. The memory care community will offer community areas, a dining room, and activity centers.

The project team included Group 4 Design (architecture and design; Jacksonville, Fla.), and Summit Contracting Group (construction; Jacksonville).

The community is situated on 4 aces and is expected to open in 2020.
