Construction on Riverview Senior Living, a $10-million independent living housing development in Natrona, Pa., will start by May 2020.
Gatesburg Road Development (State College, Pa.) plans to build 30 units for seniors, including 20 single-bedroom apartments and 10 two-bedroom units (with five units designed for handicapped residents) in the former 90-year-old-Highlands School District administration building.
The project, slated to take about 14 months to complete, includes a three-story addition that would double the building’s size to accommodate the housing units.
