Allegro Senior Living (St. Louis) has moved forward with expansion plans in south Florida with the closing of a land purchase in Parkland, Fla.

The independent living, assisted living, and memory care community on the 8-acre parcel will feature 175 units and more than 186,000 square feet. The property will have a luxury design similar to other Allegro communities throughout Florida.

Construction is expected to start in fall this year and the community is anticipated to open in early 2019.

Meyer Design Inc. is the architect for the project. PMA Sales Group Inc. brokered the transaction.
