Full Circle Communities, Illinois Housing Development Authority, and the Village of Richmond recently celebrated groundbreaking for a new 22,000-square-foot affordable senior living apartment complex in Richmond, Ill.
Construction is now underway on the new development which will serve low income seniors in need of secure housing. The apartment complex is adjacent to a walking trail and will feature services focused on health and wellness for seniors 55 and older.
The building will have 25 accessible units with 4 two-bedroom and 21 one-bedroom apartments, a computer lab, library, community room and more. A natural wetlands buffer and generous landscaping will provide for an environmentally friendly outdoor setting for residents to enjoy.
The geenral contractor is Novak Construction and the project is expected to be completed toward year-end 2016.
