Rocky Mountain Senior Housing To Build Community in Golden, Colo.

<p>Rocky Mountain Senior Housing plans to build an 89,000-square-foot senior living community in Golden, Colo., and has named <a href="http://www.ozarch.com/">OZ Architecture</a> (Denver) as the architecture and design firm on the project.</p><p><a href="http://www.vivage.com/lodgeatgolden/" target="_blank" rel="noopener">Golden Lodge Assisted Living</a> will comprise two facilities—a 65,000-square-foot, four-story assisted living community with 75 studio and one bedroom units; and a 24,000-square-foot, single-story memory care community with 36 studio units.</p>

Rocky Mountain Senior Housing plans to build an 89,000-square-foot senior living community in Golden, Colo., and has named OZ Architecture (Denver) as the architecture and design firm on the project.

Golden Lodge Assisted Living will comprise two facilities—a 65,000-square-foot, four-story assisted living community with 75 studio and one bedroom units; and a 24,000-square-foot, single-story memory care community with 36 studio units.

Exterior finishes will be complement the mountain lodge setting of the foothills of Golden and the materials palette will include stone, pitched roofs, mountain log accents and traditional lap siding.

Landscaped outdoor areas will be designed to encourage taking walks and a four-season greenhouse will allow residents to grow their own fresh vegetables and fruit and take part in hobby gardening. The community will also feature a bistro and wine bar.

Golden Lodge Assisted Living will be operated by Colorado-based Vivage Senior Living (Lakewood, Colo.) and construction is expected to by the end of 2016, with a projected completion date of fall 2017.
