Brookdale Senior Living is investing $8 million into Brookdale DeLand in DeLand, Fla., to expand Alzheimer's and dementia care services.
The project, which is scheduled for completion in June, will create 32 apartments that can accommodate 34 people living with Alzheimer's and dementia.
It also includes upgrades to the community's 42 assisted living apartments and an onsite therapy gym.
