Sonata Senior Living (Orlando) broke ground on the 139,000-square-foot Sonata West, a new resort retirement and assisted living community in Winter Garden, Fla.
The community’s 113 units will include 78 independent living and 35 assisted living apartments. The two-story building will also feature a limited number of “club level” apartments with enhanced services, apartment upgrades, and controlled access.
Community amenities will include a full-service restaurant with locally grown fare, pool, bistro/bar, library, auditorium, theatre, general store, art studio, fitness studio, bocce ball court, picnic pavilion, and dog park.
The community is expected to open in early 2017 and represents Sonata’s fifth senior living community in central Florida and its second resort-style living community.
