The Society for the Advancement of Gerontological Environments (SAGE) has announced a new award in honor of David Green, one of the founding members of the organization and a pioneer of the household/neighborhood model in long-term care in the United States.
The David A. Green Memorial Award for Advancing the Humanization of Elder Environments has been established to encourage, inspire, recognize, and subsidize innovative projects and actions of providers, researchers, and designers who improve the lives and environments of older adults.
For 2016 the award will be a total of $500.00 and the deadline for applications is Apr. 1, 2016.
