LCB Senior Living LLC has broken ground on The Residence at Quarry Hill, a 102-apartment senior living residence in South Burlington, Vt.
The senior living community will have a variety of amenities and services including an on-site gourmet restaurant that will allow residents to dine on their own schedules (Anytime Dining), comfortable living rooms and a library, media room, recreation facilities, outdoor sitting and walking areas, and more. Independent living residents will have their own apartment with kitchenette and bath, a full activities program, and a host of optional services. Assisted living residents will have the same amenities along with assistance with the activities of daily living and other services.
The Residence at Quarry Hill will also include LCB’s Reflections Memory Care services for residents with early stage Alzheimer’s disease and other memory impairments. In addition to offering cognitive programming, Reflections is a secure, safe environment with its own common areas, walking courtyard, and other amenities.
The community features mountain views, proximity to many attractions, and is located near the University of Vermont with its continuing education programs, culture, and medical center. All community programming is developed in collaboration with Harvard Medical School and Brigham & Women’s Hospital.
