Independent Healthcare Properties (IHP) and Morning Pointe Senior Living have broken ground on a new campus in Danville, Ky. Morning Pointe of Danville will provide senior living and Alzheimer’s memory care services.
The new community, situated on forty acres, will feature two craftsman style buildings with 104 apartments. The landscaped campus will offer various amenities including fine dining areas, life enrichment programs, and professional health and wellness services.
In the first phase Morning Pointe of Danville will offer 44 senior living/personal care apartments and an additional 16 apartments will be in The Lantern, a secure dedicated wing specially designed for residents with Alzheimer’s and other forms of memory loss. The second phase will offer 44 purposeful apartments in a freestanding Alzheimer’s Center of Excellence.
IHP is the developer, owner, and manager.
